ORDERS AND PAYMENTS

How can I order from you?

The best way is to contact us online using a contact form (here) or call us directly on 020 7060 7177. You will receive a quotation from us. When you are happy with it, you accept it and get an agreement to sign and pay for the services. Everything is easy and secure.

I don't know what I really need to hire, can you help me?

You do not have to know specific AV equipment. We can advise best option that suits your budget and expectations. The more you tell us about your event, the better we can recommend right equipment.

What details do you need to create a quote for me?

The most essential pieces of information are: your name, email address, date and post code of the event and the equipment you want to hire. The more details we receive, the better we can advice and recommend best option for your needs. Of course if you are not sure what do you need our friendly staff will help you choose the right gear for your event.

What proof of ID do I need to provide to hire from you?

We require one of those documents: UK passport, UK driving licence, National ID card, overseas passport, overseas driving licence or overseas national ID card. Additionally you may be asked to provide a proof of address, such as a letter from bank or utility bill.

Do you work only in London?

We work mainly in London and deliver within M25, however we do exceptions in case of larger projects. Please ask for details.

Do you work only in business hours from Monday to Friday?

Our technicians are available 24/7. Our office is open from 9 am till 7 pm, but even after those hours you may email us whenever you can. We try to answer all questions as quick as possible.

I have not received an email from you, although it should already arrive.

You should check your spam (junk mail) box as it might be there. If you still have trouble finding it call us for help.

Do you require a deposit for your equipment?

We only require a deposit for specific items, such as DJ equipment. It is a refundable deposit via Secure Trading for security reasons. Money are suspended on your account and released after the event.

Can I make changes after placing the order?

We know things pop out and you need to be prepared to react. That is why we are flexible and always try to help. Simply get in touch with us.

Can I cancel my order?

Of course you can. Unfortunately the deposit will not be refunded and the payment has to be paid in full if cancelation is done within 7 days prior to event’s date.

Can I collect from you and return hired equipment?

Unfortunately “dry hire” is not an option. We deliver, set up and collect our equipment.

Can I set up hired equipment myself?

Sure, but you take the responsibility for setting up the equipment and the effect.

How much do you charge for the delivery?

Delivery charge varies. It is based on the post code of the event. Contact us to find out more about the cost in your particular case. Please note the congestion charge (if applicable) is added on top of the delivery.

Will I have to pay extra if collection is on the next day?

We can collect our equipment day after your event. If it is before midday you will not have to pay extra. There is an option of late night collection on request - please ask for details.

Do you offer any discounts?

Oh, yes we do. You have a guaranteed discount when you hire packages and when you hire for longer period. Get in touch with us to see how much you can safe.

Do you have a minimum order policy?

Yes and it varies depending on the time of the year. Usually it's between £60 - £100 +VAT for the equipment. Delivery charges are additional. Please contact us for more details.

Are there any extra costs I need to know about?

There are no hidden costs. Quote includes delivery, set up, collection and VAT. You will not have to pay more then you have in your quote.

How can I pay?

First payment has to be done using your credit card and the rest may be paid by bank transfer. Once you sign the agreement and submit it will take you to the payment website. All card payments are processed by Secure Trading, so it's 100% safe. We don't hold your card details. Please note that we do not accept American Express.

Do I have to pay full price straight away?

Only if your event is within next few days. On other cases you do not have to. Usually we require two payments: credit card’s payment to secure the order and bank transfer for the remaining amount to be completed before the event.

SERVICES

What can I expect from you and what do I pay for?

You can expect a professional service of experienced staff. You can expect a full service: delivery, set up and collections, specialist’s advice and more. You can expect the best quality AV equipment.

Do you set everything up for the event?

Yes, we do. You can relax and leave this job for us.

Do I need to provide wires and extensions for you?

No. We carry everything we need for setting hired equipment. The only thing we need is power supply, as all our equipment is mains operated.

How much time do you need for set up?

Time varies and depends of the equipment you hire. With a smaller orders it may take up to 30 minutes, but with much larger - even the whole day.

What if I have a questions on the day of the event?

You can contact us anytime, but if you have a specific question for our engineer, we will provide you with his number, so you can contact him directly.

Do I pay extra for engineer’s advice?

We are happy to help and even if you do not require a specialist service for your event, you can ask for directions and tips. All free of charge.

Do you offer an engineer’s service?

We offer sound and lighting technicians on site. You can also hire a DJ from us. Please note that these services cost extra.

Do you offer site visits?

In some cases a site visit is essential and might save you and us a lot of time, money and disappointment. Site visits are free of charge when you decides to hire out the equipment.

Can I hire equipment form you for a boat party?

Yes you can, but please let us know about that beforehand as this is usually a two man job and requires different approach to logistics.

EQUIPMENT

Is your equipment for indoor & outdoor?

The most of our equipment is for indoor use. In case of outdoor events, the equipment must be kept safe and protected against the rain and moisture. The Customer takes full responsibility for loss or damage to the hired equipment (other than fair wear and tear).

What do I need a mixer for when hiring speakers?

As all our speakers are active, for safety reasons any equipment connected to them needs to go through a mixer. If you have one, you don't need to hire the additional one.

Do you supply a battery-operated equipment?

Only microphones. All other equipment is mains operated and need a power supply to work.

Is your equipment safe?

Yes. All supplied equipment is PAT- tested and checked before the event.

Do you have a Public Liability Insurance?

We hold Public Liability Insurance (£5,000,000), Products Liability Insurance (£5,000,000) and Employers' Liability Insurance (£10,000,000).

Do I need to know how to use AV equipment when planning a party or a conference?

Not at all. We will set everything for you so you will not have to worry about anything. You can also hire a sound engineer or lighting technician for the time of your event.
