This was our second event with PIwL that we have supplied equipment for. This time is was a Halloween party that took place in Sink Pong in Shoreditch. As the venue had its own in-house system only DJ, lighting system and lighting designer were required. It took few hours and 3 engineers to set everything up. The moving head lights came with our new in stock, Avolites Pearl controller and an engineer operating them during the event. We build a stage for the DJ and situated a truss lift with moving heads directly above it. Some of the heads were placed on trusses on the sides of the room. For a better effect, which by the way we love and think looks great, trusses were light with led slim uplighters. None of the lights would look so spectacular without a bit of haze, just look at the beams of light in this subtle smoke! The party was a great success. The theme was of course Halloween but accompanied with a music from the 80s till new releases. Everyone came dressed up and the best outfit was awarded with a ticked to the next event organised by PIwL. The party started at 8pm and was scheduled to end at 2p.m. but as everyone had so much fun, and to be honest we did too, we decided to overstay for another two hours. We are looking forward to more collaborations like this and hoping to be a part of next PIwL event.
